Core-Mark in Minnesota is seeking a detail-oriented HR Generalist to support workforce strategies and programs. You will collaborate with management to implement PDPs, training, and performance initiatives while ensuring policy compliance and employee relations.

The role emphasizes strong communication, adaptability, and a proactive approach to payroll, benefits, and HRIS data entry within a busy distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma from an accredited university/college, or equivalent work experience.
• CPHR is an asset.
• Proven academic and work achievement.
• Administration experience is preferred.
• 5+ years HR Generalist work experience.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills.
• Problem solving and attention to detail are essential.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist development and administration of programs aligning the workforce with strategic goals.
• Participate in setting department goals, objectives, and systems.
• Attend administrative staff meetings and seminars.
• Establish departmental measurements to support goals.
• Support workforce with company policies and procedures.
• Help implement performance management systems (PDPs) and development programs.
• Help establish an in-house employee training system and onboarding.
• Provide education and materials to managers/employees, including manuals and reports.
• Maintain training records and coach supervisors.
• Communicate HR policies and programs to management and staff.
• Advise on employee relations and progressive discipline steps.
