Job summary

Core-Mark is hiring an HR Generalist to support onboarding, payroll processing, HRIS updates, benefits administration, and employee relations across multiple Ohio locations. You will help maintain HR compliance and drive a people-first culture while partnering with HR management.

The role requires 3 years of HR experience, proficiency with MS Office, and experience with HRIS. Work is onsite in Heath, OH with regional travel as needed; salary ranges from $60,000 to $65,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of HR experience or equivalent
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with HRIS and talent management systems

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding needs and facilitate weekly new hire orientation.
• Processing biweekly payroll for multiple locations long-term, of up to 600 associates at 3 different OpCo locations (Columbus, Cleveland, Heath OH).
• Performing HRIS data maintenance; including new hires processing and status changes.
• Administering various HR plans and procedures for all Core-Mark personnel including pay, benefits, and leave related processes.
• Addressing employee inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and HR programs.
• Conducting best practice surveys and assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Providing employee relations support including conducting investigations.
• Providing legal support for all active litigations.
• Conducting regular audits on employee timekeeping records to ensure compliance.
• Assisting with responses to unemployment claims.
• Coordinating employee training, employee awards, and other Core-Mark programs.
• Providing additional support to HR process across Core-Mark.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
