Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Two years of full-time or equivalent paid professional HR, payroll, bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Graduate coursework may substitute for required experience (one year of experience for every fifteen semester hours).
• Related experience may substitute for the required education (one year for every thirty semester hours).

Aufgaben

• Provide payroll, benefits and timekeeping support.
• Serve as Payroll & Benefits Coordinator; process enrollments/changes in PEIA Access and retirement updates in CPRB Compass.
• Review personnel action requests; draft and review HR documents; update wvOasis and UKG entries.
• Advise management and employees on policy and procedural matters; seek HR attorney guidance when needed.
• Conduct HR training, employee orientation and onboarding.
• Maintain unit/agency records, databases, workflows, and reports; support other functions as needed.
• Communicate effectively with diverse groups; handle confidential information.
