Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.
• At least one year of human resources, benefits, payroll, or related administrative experience preferred.
• Experience with an HR information system or payroll platform preferred; Paycor experience is a plus.
• HR certification, such as aPHR, PHR, or SHRM-CP, is preferred but not required.
• Healthcare, nonprofit, or FQHC experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities: postings, applications, interviews, and communication with candidates.
• Complete background checks, reference checks, and pre-employment steps per EVCHS policy.
• Coordinate onboarding and ensure training, forms, and documentation are completed on time.
• Maintain confidential personnel, benefit, leave, and disciplinary records.
• Administer employee benefit enrollment, open enrollment, and communications with carriers.
• Support payroll by reviewing data, deductions, and timekeeping; prepare payroll information for management.
