Job summary

LHH is seeking an HR Generalist to support a broad range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, policy implementation, and regulatory compliance. The role partners with management to foster a positive, inclusive work environment and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in human resources or a related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, benefits administration, employee relations, recruitment, and performance management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience using HRIS.
• Ability to work collaboratively with employees, management, and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, fairness, and a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment and staffing support across full lifecycle.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires and exits.
• Provide guidance on employee relations and policy interpretation.
• Assist with benefits administration and enrollment.
• Support performance management, reviews, and development plans.
• Help develop and maintain HR policies and employee handbook updates.
• Maintain confidential employee records and assist with HR audits and reporting.
• Support employee engagement and development initiatives.
• Maintain HR information systems and related reporting.
• Partner with managers to address staffing needs and HR matters.
