Job summary

ConvenientMD LLC is seeking an HR Generalist in Portsmouth, NH to oversee onboarding, changes, terminations, I-9, background checks, file maintenance, audits, reporting, and leave administration with confidentiality and discretion. Reporting to the Director, HR, you will partner with finance, talent acquisition, and other teams to enhance the employee experience.

You will act as an ADP Admin, manage new hire processing, and support HR technology upgrades and special projects.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in onboarding, employee relations, reporting, and HRIS administration.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources/Business Administration or equivalent.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office and Smartsheet.
• 1+ year experience using HRIS systems, preferably ADP’s Workforce Now.
• Excellent attention to detail with high accuracy; strong organizational skills.
• Analytical mindset with data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Excellent customer service skills with proactive follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Act as an ADP Admin by navigating ADP functionalities and supporting process improvements.
• Oversee new hire processing, status changes, and terminations; collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes.
• Create, organize, and categorize employee files and respond to file access requests.
• Develop training offerings and training materials; draft routine HR correspondence.
• Respond to employment verification requests and oversee credentialing requests.
• Support onboarding processes for new hires, including pre-hire tasks and first-touch onboarding support.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in operations and implement solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Create and analyze standard HR reports; respond to ad-hoc reporting requests.
• Assist in HR technology upgrades and support special projects (compensation, performance, engagement, diversity).
• Provide backup support for other HR responsibilities as needed.
