Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
• Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions; maintains local AAP program and ensures accuracy with applicant flow log.
• Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
• Keeps records of benefits plans participation, personnel transactions, and employee statistics for government reporting.
• Trains management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, performance reviews, safety, and harassment policies.
• Advises management on employee relations issues and resolves inquiries regarding policies and programs.
• Administers performance review and salary administration programs to ensure effectiveness and equity.
• Administers benefits programs such as life, health, dental, disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, and wellness.
