ConvenientMD LLC is hiring an HR Specialist in Portsmouth, NH. The role administers employee benefits and 401(k), supports payroll and HRIS operations, and collaborates with vendors and internal teams to ensure compliance and an exceptional employee experience across locations.

The position emphasizes confidentiality, attention to detail, and strong communication skills, with opportunities to lead benefit initiatives and participate in system upgrades and HR projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar field.
• Two or more years of ADP Workforce Now experience; ADP WFM or UKG timecards experience preferred.
• Five or more years overseeing benefits and 401k administration.
• Experience supporting multi-state payroll; confidential data handling.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and deadline-driven work.

Responsibilities

• Administer and continuously improve employee benefits programs and processes.
• Maintain knowledge of federal/state employment, benefits, and leave laws for compliance.
• Communicate benefit offerings and educate employees across locations.
• Manage new hire enrollments, life events, status changes, and terminations.
• Coordinate and execute annual open enrollment activities.
• Audit benefit enrollment reports and vendor invoices; resolve discrepancies.
• Serve as primary contact for benefit-related claim issues and disputes.
• Coordinate benefit invoice payments and repayments/reconciliations for leaves.
• Maintain HRIS/payroll/benefits data accuracy and integrity.
• Support HRIS initiatives and system enhancements; provide testing involvement.
• Provide timely, professional responses to employee inquiries.
