Job summary

Platform Aerospace in Hollywood, MD is seeking an HR Generalist to support onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee records management. You will partner with managers to ensure a smooth employee experience while upholding company policies.

The role requires strong organization, communication, and confidentiality, with experience in HRIS (preferably ADP) and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with 2+ years HR experience (or equivalent).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Experience with onboarding, benefits, HR compliance, and employee records.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience with HRIS systems, preferably ADP.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute all aspects of new hire onboarding, including communications and screenings.
• Partner with managers to facilitate onboarding activities and provide status updates.
• Ensure compliance with I-9 and onboarding documentation.
• Coordinate and administer employee benefits onboarding and enrollment.
• Complete employment, security clearance verifications, and related documents.
• Maintain accurate personnel records and compliant employee files.
• Coordinate employee offboarding activities and separation processes.
• Monitor unemployment claims and ensure timely responses.
• Process offer letters, promotions, and referral bonuses in HR systems.
• Perform HRIS reconciliation between ADP and third-party platforms.
• Support compliance initiatives, including EEO, VETS-4212, FMLA and safety programs.
• Assist with process mapping and continuous HR improvements.
• Coordinate recruitment-related travel and onboarding logistics.
• Support HR projects and initiatives to enhance operations.
• Perform other duties as required.
