Job summary

W-Industries is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to manage onboarding, orientation, and exit processes while upholding company policies. You will audit HRIS data, administer benefits and performance plans, and conduct background checks.

Responsibilities include handling employee relations, policy development, and ensuring legal compliance across federal, state, and local laws. A degree and relevant HR experience are preferred, with Paylocity and DISA familiarity valuable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• PHR or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred.
• If you have a degree: Proven experience as an HR Generalist for a minimum of 1 year.
• Experience of 5 years+ in HR with full life cycle management will be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Handle onboarding, orientation, and exit interviews; audit data in HRIS for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in administering compensation, benefits, and performance plans.
• Conduct background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
• Resolve employee relations issues; counsel and assist in disciplinary matters.
• Manage inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors; escalate sensitive matters as needed.
• Support development and administration of policies and processes for employee development.
• Assist with performance evaluations as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; review policies for compliance.
