Job summary

TFS, based in Perrysburg, OH, seeks an HR Generalist to support hiring, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and HR compliance across the organization.

In coordination with the HR Manager, you will help recruit, onboard, and train staff, manage the HRIS, answer benefits questions, and assist with policy development and day-to-day HR needs while upholding our values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent work experience.
• SHRM/HRCI/CEBS or similar certification is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
• Minimum of 2 years as HR Generalist or similar role.
• Knowledge of HR compliance requirements and best practices.
• Experience with Paylocity or any HRIS is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist with HR functions: hiring, onboarding, training, payroll support, benefits administration, employee relations and compliance.
• Partner with Recruiting to ensure smooth new hire experience and system setup.
• Co-lead weekly onboarding presentations with HR Manager.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns; uphold core values.
• Advise business leaders on HR policies and procedures.
• Support day-to-day employee needs and respond to benefits questions.
• Audit enrollment against benefits reporting and invoicing.
• Manage HRIS with emphasis on optimization and accuracy.
• Assist with policy creation and adherence.
• Other duties as assigned; subject to change.
