Job summary

ONE is seeking an on-site HR Generalist in Scottsdale, AZ, working Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with a strong in-person presence. You will support onboarding, employee relations, performance management, HRIS, leave, and offboarding across the employee lifecycle.

Ideal candidates are highly organized, discreet, proactive, and capable of handling sensitive issues with professionalism and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of progressive HR experience in fast-paced environments.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, recruiting, HRIS, and HR administration.
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and handling confidential employee matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; UKG experience is a plus.
• SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP/PHR/SPHR certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support across onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
• Partner with managers to address performance and conduct issues promptly.
• Support investigations by gathering information and preparing summaries.
• Assist with coaching and performance improvement plans.
• Maintain confidential HR records and HRIS data.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Support recruitment, background checks, and onboarding activities.
• Generate HR reports on headcount, turnover, and attendance.
• Manage leave, PTO, and ADA accommodations and documentation.
