Job summary

Arizona Tile in Tempe, AZ is seeking an HR Generalist to support branch locations and the HR team across multiple states, ensuring compliance and accuracy in HR processes.

You will manage onboarding, leave administration, recruiting support, employee records, and payroll changes while upholding confidentiality in a safety‑focused, family‑oriented environment. This onsite role is Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm with paid time off and benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: 2-4 year degree in business, HR, or related area.
• Experience: 2-3+ years HR Generalist or Specialist in a multi-state, multi-unit org.
• Functional: Excellent customer service, coordination of priorities, strong organization and planning.
• Certifications: PHR/SHRM-CP helpful but not required.
• Tech: Proficient with Microsoft Office, HRIS and ATS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service to branch locations via email, phone, or in person.
• Supports leave of absence administration and HR programs across multiple states, ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
• Manages recruiting process within ATS to ensure timely postings and applicant progress.
• Coordinates onboarding: pre-employment activities, offers, orientation, and training.
• Maintains employee files and payroll change information accurately and confidentially.
• Supports and tracks training, PPE, and other HR programs to keep data current.
