Addison Group is seeking an HR Generalist for a contract-to-hire role in Philadelphia, PA. You will run daily HR operations, support onboarding, benefits, payroll, and leave administration, and collaborate with managers to fill vacancies.

You will implement orientation, administer HR programs, handle employee relations, and ensure legal compliance while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. This position is fully on-site with potential for permanent placement.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• 1+ year of HR management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• High level of organization, attention to detail, and time management.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; HRIS experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Run daily HR operations including hiring, onboarding, benefits, payroll support, and leave administration.
• Recruit, interview, and facilitate hiring for open positions with department managers.
• Conduct background checks and employment eligibility verifications.
• Implement new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
• Administer HR programs related to compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, training, and compliance.
• Review, track, and document compliance with required training and certifications.
• Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary meetings, investigations, and terminations.
• Respond to HR inquiries from employees, applicants, and supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
• Maintain awareness of HR trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies.
• Support performance evaluations and may oversee daily HR staff workflow.
