Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking an HR Operations Generalist to own multi-state compliance, policy drafting, and payroll/benefits questions. You will draft policies, lead audits, and champion AI-enabled improvements in HR ops. This is a hands-on role in a fast-growing startup environment.

You will work closely with a small team, drive complex compliance across states, and have influence on how AI shapes day-to-day HR tasks while maintaining high standards and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline required.
• Hands-on HR generalist experience with payroll, benefits, and compliance.
• Experience drafting policies and implementing them cross-state.
• Interest in applying AI to HR operations.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-state compliance tracking and policy updates.
• Lead annual compliance audit and handbook refresh.
• Handle escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions.
• Support Payroll and HR Administration team to unblock work.
• Redesign HR ops processes with AI-native mindset.
