Jerry.ai is seeking an in-house HR Ops leader to own multi-state compliance, policy drafting, and the payroll/benefits questions that arise when guidance isn’t in a handbook. You will address escalations with judgment, lead the annual audit and handbook refresh, and shape how AI enhances HR operations in a fast-growing startup.

You’ll contribute across payroll, benefits, and compliance in a small, high-intensity team and grow into day-to-day HR operations management over time.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 2 years of hands-on, in-house HR generalist experience with multi-state compliance.
• Experience drafting policies, handling payroll, benefits, and compliance filings.
• Comfortable in a small, high-intensity team and excited to build with AI.

Responsabilidades

• Own multi-state compliance, policy updates, and implementation across employee classifications and pay ranges.
• Lead annual compliance audit and handbook refresh within first 90 days.
• Handle escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions with judgment and experience.
• Review and unblock work of Payroll and HR Administration team members.
• Architect HR ops processes with an AI-native mindset.
