Job summary

Westlake Financial is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist with a strong background in Workers' Compensation, Leave of Absence Administration, and Reasonable Accommodations. This role supports employees and management, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws while handling employee lifecycle processes with discretion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of progressive HR experience with workers' compensation and leave of absence management.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems (UKG a plus) and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Manage Workers' Compensation claims end-to-end, including reporting and closure.
• Coordinate with employees, managers, insurers, and third-party admins.
• Monitor claim status and ensure timely documentation and reporting.
• Facilitate return-to-work and transitional duty programs.
• Administer and track employee leaves; document eligibility and notices.
