Job summary

West Sound Human Resource Management Association seeks an experienced HR professional to oversee medical leaves, FMLA/PFML, disability programs and workers’ compensation. This role coordinates leave administration, ensuring compliance and timely processing while protecting employee privacy.

Responsibilities include data management, reporting, vendor coordination, and collaboration with departments to resolve leave-related issues.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, business administration or closely related field.
• Three (3) years of in-depth Human Resources experience with focus on program management (leave, workers' compensation).
• Proficiency in federal and state leave laws and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical leaves and workers’ compensation claims between employees, departments and providers.
• Administer leave programs and ensure compliance with FMLA, PFML, OSHA and related laws.
• Prepare and maintain OSHA reports and leave-related documentation.
• Coordinate investigations of workers’ compensation claims and maintain confidential records.
• Produce reporting metrics and analytics for leaves and claims.
