Job summary

Jerry's Home Improvement is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support our HR team and act as the subject matter expert for Leave, Benefits, Compensation, and Workers' Compensation. The role involves ensuring compliance and supporting internal customers and applicants in a welcoming environment.

Qualified candidates have at least 4 years of progressive HR experience, strong Excel skills, and are familiar with HRIS systems such as ADP WorkforceNow.

Qualifications

• Superior customer service and human relations skills.
• 4 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Experience administering worker's compensation, leave, benefits, and compensation.
• Excellent critical thinking, time management, and communication skills.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
• ADP WorkforceNow HRIS/HCM experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Human Resources functions as Subject Matter Expert.
• Provide Human Resources support to all Team Members.
• Know and support Jerry's Culture and Handbook.
• Ensure Jerry's is compliant with Human Resources laws and regulations.
• Oversee administration of Jerry's Compensation program, Leave and Benefits programs.
• Administer Jerry's Worker's Compensation program.
• Support management to ensure Team Member disciplinary process is fair and consistent with company policies and practices.
