Job summary

Community Renewal Team Inc is seeking an HR Generalist I to support onboarding, benefits, training, and compliance agency-wide. Under supervision of the HR Director, you will manage employee records, HRIS maintenance, and payroll tasks.

This full-time day-shift role requires an Associate’s degree and 2–3 years HR experience. You will collaborate with department heads, ensure data integrity, assist with audits, and respond to employee inquiries.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with coursework in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Two to three years progressively responsible HR administration experience including recruitment, benefits, and employee relations.
• Knowledge of Federal, state and local laws pertaining to personnel administration and payroll/benefits.
• Experience with Microsoft applications and HRIS software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding, benefits administration, training and compliance programs.
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data; support payroll processes.
• Respond to employee questions on procedures, benefits and HR-related topics.
• Coordinate training programs and assist with audits and reporting.
