Job summary

Southern Specialties is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to serve as the dedicated HR resource for our Tulsa operations. This hands-on role owns established HR programs and processes while providing responsive support to employees and leaders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will manage recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, employee relations, and a migration of our HR SharePoint Hub, ensuring accurate records, compliant practices, and clear HR communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• Three or more years of broad HR experience.
• Experience with recruiting, payroll, benefits enrollment, and employee relations.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR practices.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and exercise sound judgment.
• Strong communication, organization, confidentiality, and follow-through.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, offers, and pre-employment activities.
• Coordinate onboarding and conduct new hire orientation.
• Administer payroll activities and maintain accurate payroll and employee records.
• Coordinate benefits enrollment, life-event changes, and employee benefit support.
• Serve as the primary HR resource for employees and supervisors.
• Support employee relations, investigations, performance management, and corrective action processes.
• Coordinate unemployment claims and Oklahoma Employment Security Commission filings.
• Execute established compliance, leave, recordkeeping, and reporting processes.
• Lead the migration to the Southern Specialties HR SharePoint Hub and own its ongoing content and administration.
• Maintain HR communications, forms, policies, and employee resources.
