Job summary

Generac is seeking an HR Generalist to partner with internal teams, implement HR programs, advise on employee relations, administer compensation, and support talent acquisition initiatives. The role emphasizes compliance, training, and confidentiality in a manufacturing-focused environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in HR (or related field) with 2 years of HR experience, PHR certification, and Workday knowledge; experience in manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2 years HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
• PHR certification.
• Experience recruiting hourly manufacturing staff in seasonal environments.
• Workday experience and knowledge of HR processes.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Experience implementing new HR processes and programs.
• Experience in manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal customer groups to coordinate HR programs and processes within a specific business function or segment of the company.
• Implement and enforce programs and policies that drive employee engagement and performance.
• Act as a trusted advisor for supervisors and managers regarding employee relations, training and development of their teams.
• Administer compensation programs, salary planning, and job evaluations.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Team for staffing and to drive employment-branding initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and company policies.
• Coordinate and support training initiatives for employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
