Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced HR Generalist/HRBP who will partner with internal stakeholders on HR programs and employee relations.

You will support talent acquisition, compensation, payroll, training, and safety initiatives while ensuring policy interpretation and regulatory compliance. You will lead HR projects, analyze data to drive decisions, mitigate risks, and share lessons learned to improve execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR generalist or HR business partner experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Experience supporting internal clients without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders on HR programs, practices, and employee relations.
• Support and implement HR initiatives across talent acquisition, compensation, payroll, policy interpretation, training, and safety.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on branding and recruiting strategies to attract top talent.
• Contribute to design and delivery of programs that drive engagement and operational effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and internal HR policies.
• Provide HR project leadership, manage timelines, coordinate cross-functional efforts, and track progress.
