Job summary

TPC Group in Houston, TX is seeking an HR Generalist to provide hands-on support to employees and managers across corporate functions. You will help ensure HR programs, policies, and practices are applied consistently and effectively while serving as a trusted resource on day-to-day affairs.

The role covers employee relations, onboarding, performance management, policy interpretation, compliance, leave administration, and engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, Industrial Relations, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience with employee relations, investigations, and performance management.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR partnership and support to corporate functions.
• Build relationships with client groups and provide practical HR guidance.
• Interpret and apply company policies consistently and fairly across the organization.
• Assist with onboarding, orientation, employee transitions, internal movement, and retention activities.
• Support leave of absence, immigration, and compliance matters.
• Maintain highly confidential employee information with discretion.
