Job summary

New York Technology Partners in Houston, TX is seeking a Generalist – HR Talent Engagement to partner with regional leadership. This on-site role focuses on employee relations, engagement, coaching and development of leadership teams, and supporting global HR initiatives across the organization.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in HR or Business with 3+ years of HR Generalist experience (Master’s preferred 2–3 years).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business with 3+ years experience.
• Master’s degree in HR or related field with 2–3 years HR Generalist experience.
• PHR/SPHR certification preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of employment laws and employee relations cases.
• Leadership experience in extracurricular roles during school.
• Data analysis, action planning, and execution skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders for effective priorities and initiatives.
• Implement and promote talent management initiatives including performance management, competency development, rewards & recognition, succession planning, coaching and mentoring.
• Facilitate HR engagements based on insights to promote belonging and pride.
• Manage development and ensure fair administration of HR policies and processes.
• Promote and drive employee engagement within project teams for morale.
• Coordinate Corporate Social Responsibility events for project teams.
• Participate in meetings, client audits, and project start-ups.
• Deploy mechanisms to increase employee retention and ensure compliance with HR processes.
