HR Generalist - People & Compliance Partner

Job summary

MissionHires is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations across employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, performance management, benefits and leave administration, training, and HR reporting.

The role requires a confidential partner who can manage multiple priorities and contribute to an inclusive, compliant workplace in the Dallas area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 3–5 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Experience supporting recruitment, employee relations, and HR compliance.
• Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and policy administration.
• Experience in manufacturing/pharmaceutical/GMP/FDA environment preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, conflict-resolution, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary resource for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and workplace concerns.
• Support employee relations investigations, policy-violation reviews, and corrective-action processes.
• Partner with managers to promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
• Coordinate full-cycle recruiting activities, including posting jobs and onboarding offers.
• Facilitate new-hire onboarding and orientation; ensure pre-employment requirements are completed.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Assist with policy updates, handbook administration, HR records, audits, and inspections.
• Support performance review processes with timelines and follow-up.
• Assist with employee development, succession, and engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate benefits enrollment questions and leave-of-absence requests (FMLA, ADA).
• Maintain training records and certifications; prepare HR workforce data reports.
• Support HR projects and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Participate in plant/warehouse activities and travel between facilities as needed.
