Qualifications

• Education equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources. PHR certification a plus.
• Minimum of three years progressively responsible experience.
• Ability to manage sensitive, confidential information.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Power Point, and Excel; advanced Excel.
• HRIS knowledge (ADP is a plus).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and coach managers and employees on work-related issues (employee relations, labor relations, policies, disciplinary actions).
• Maintain training programs, including safety and supervisory training.
• Develop processes to ensure compliance with FMLA, FLSA, ADA, HIPAA, and Texas wage laws.
• Coordinate recruiting and pre-employment processes.
• Administer benefits and workers’ compensation programs.
• Ensure HRIS data accuracy and generate reports.
• Conduct monthly audits for compliance.
