Rex Moore Electrical & Systems Contractors & Engineers is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to manage daily HR operations, including benefits, leave, training, and ensuring policy compliance across the organization. The role emphasizes employee relations, regulatory adherence, and partnering with management to foster a positive work environment.

The position supports payroll-related tasks, onboarding, and development initiatives while ensuring accurate job descriptions and company-wide HR

Qualifications

• Knowledge of workers’ compensation, COBRA, FMLA, and ADA.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
• Assists in the implementation and creation of employee recognition programs.
• Support routine tasks required to administer and execute HR programs including benefits and leave, disciplinary matters, disputes, investigations, performance, productivity, recognition, and morale.
• Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex matters to appropriate staff.
• Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
• Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
• Build trusted partnerships with team members through consultative and collaborative efforts.
• Provide guidance to management to promote and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Guide management in the application and interpretation of policies and procedures.
