Six Degrees Search is partnering with an established financial services firm in Wheaton, IL to fill a hands-on HR Generalist role focused on benefits and recruiting. The position emphasizes taking ownership of day-to-day HR tasks in a growing organization.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in recruiting, employee benefits, and HR administration, with the ability to work independently and drive process improvements in a smaller, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–10 years of progressive HR experience.
• Hands-on experience with recruiting, onboarding, and benefits administration.
• Experience in financial services, banking, or related industry preferred.
• Familiarity with HR systems, payroll, and employment compliance.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting & onboarding: manage full-cycle recruiting, postings, sourcing, interviewing, and offers.
• Benefits administration: coordinate benefits programs, open enrollment, and broker relationships.
• HR operations: maintain HR systems and employee records; support payroll and policy development.
• Business & office operations: support leadership and coordinate vendor relations.
