Job summary

Six Degrees Search is partnering with an established, growing financial services firm in Wheaton, Illinois, to identify an HR / Business Manager. This hands-on role covers recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, HR operations, and general business support.

The ideal candidate has 3–10 years of HR experience, expertise in recruiting and benefits, and familiarity with HR systems and payroll processes.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–10 years of progressive HR experience, with flexibility for a strong mix of skills.
• Hands-on experience with recruiting, onboarding, and employee benefits administration.
• Experience or exposure in financial services, banking, or related industries is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with HR systems, payroll processes, and employment compliance.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting & onboarding: manage full-cycle recruiting, postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offers.
• Benefits administration: coordinate medical, dental, vision, retirement, open enrollment, and broker/vendor interactions.
• HR operations: maintain HR systems, employee records, payroll support, and policy development.
• Office operations: support leadership, vendor relationships, and internal communications.
