Six Degrees Search partners with a growing financial services firm in Wheaton, IL to hire an HR Generalist focused on benefits and recruiting. This hands-on role manages recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll support, and HR operations in a smaller, growth-oriented environment.

The successful candidate will have 3–10 years of HR experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a degree in HR or business.

Formación

• 3–10 years of progressive HR experience with a hands-on approach.
• Hands-on recruiting, onboarding, and benefits administration.
• Experience in financial services or related industry preferred.
• Familiarity with HR systems, payroll, and compliance.
• Experience with benefits brokers and carriers is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage full-cycle recruiting, postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offers.
• Coordinate new-hire onboarding and orientation; maintain documentation.
• Support benefits administration including open enrollment and elections.
• Maintain HR systems and employee records; assist payroll changes.
• Develop and improve HR policies, workflows, and processes.
• Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning and vendor relationships.
• Support office operations and cross-functional projects as needed.
