Job summary

Bethany Children’s Home in Womelsdorf, PA is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations, benefits, leaves, and policy enforcement. You will collaborate with program leadership to manage performance and ensure compliant HR practices across the organization.

You will coordinate recruitment, orientation, employment verifications, and maintain thorough personnel records while contributing to a positive, compliant workplace for Bethany’s youth-focused programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or organizational leadership with progressive HR experience.
• Experience with payroll, benefits, leave administration, and employment law (PA).
• Knowledge of regulations and compliant HR practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assists with daily HR functions including benefits, leaves, and policies.
• Monitors performance management and collaborates with leadership on complex employment matters.
• Completes orientation for new hires and conducts background checks.
• Maintains personnel files and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Supports recruitment strategies and employee data reporting.
• Handles employment verifications and provides HR data for leadership.
