• Healthcare or behavioral healthcare experience is preferred.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support the day-to-day human resources needs of our growing behavioral healthcare organization. This is a hands-on role responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting and onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, HR compliance, training, performance management, personnel records, and offboarding.

The HR Generalist will work closely with employees and leadership across multiple programs and locations and should be comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

This position is primarily on-site in Mechanicsburg, PA, with occasional travel to our other locations as needed.

Ideal Candidates Will Have

• Previous HR Generalist or similar HR experience
• Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment policies, and employee relations
• Experience with recruiting, onboarding, benefits, performance management, and HR documentation
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills and sound professional judgment
• Healthcare or behavioral healthcare experience is preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. HR certification (SHRM‑CP, PHR, or similar) is a plus.
