Jerry.ai is seeking an experienced HR Operations generalist to own multi-state compliance, policy drafting, and payroll/benefits questions, with room to shape AI-driven HR processes. You will drive compliance work, audits, and day-to-day operations in a fast-paced, high-intensity team.

You should have hands-on in-house experience, a bachelor’s degree, and a passion for applying AI to HR ops. The role supports remote work with on-site options in Palo Alto and other offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• At least 2 years of real, hands-on HR generalist experience.
• Genuine in-house, multi-state compliance experience.
• Comfortable in a small, high-intensity team where you touch payroll, benefits, and compliance yourself.
• Excited to build with AI.

Responsabilités

• Own multi-state compliance tracking, policy updates and ensure implementation across employee classifications and pay ranges.
• Lead the annual compliance audit and handbook refresh in your first 90 days.
• Escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions that require experienced judgment.
• Review and unblock the work of our Payroll and HR Administration team members.
• Rearchitect HR ops processes with an AI-native mindset, integrating AI thoughtfully into workflows.
• Grow into ownership of day-to-day HR operations management over time.
