You will partner with Payroll and HR Administration to ensure policies are implemented, not just written, across all employee classifications and pay ranges. You will reimagine HR processes with an AI-native mindset, helping the function work more efficiently while gradually taking ownership of

Qualifications

• Hands-on HR generalist experience (drafted policy, entered payroll, filed compliance)
• Experience handling multi-state compliance in-house
• Comfortable in a small, fast-paced team where you touch payroll, benefits, and compliance

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-state compliance: track law changes, draft updates, ensure implementation across classifications and pay ranges
• Handle escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions
• Review and unblock work of Payroll and HR Administration teams
• Rearchitect HR ops processes with an AI-native mindset
• Grow into ownership of day-to-day HR operations over time
