Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an HR Representative to serve as a front-line support to colleagues, providing real-time, accurate responses on HR policies, procedures and processes. You will assist with onboarding and offboarding, support HR cyclical processes and ensure compliant, efficient handling of employee transactions.

Requires at least 1 year of administrative or customer service experience and strong Workday skills; High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of administrative or customer service experience (Required).
• Human Resources experience (Preferred).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of Human Resources experience required.
• Strong experience with Workday.
• Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills.
• Understands confidentiality, communication and customer service.
• Documentation and Updating HR Records.

Responsibilities

• Provides front-line support to colleagues with real-time, accurate responses to inquiries about HR policies, procedures and processes.
• Assists with onboarding and offboarding processes and supports HR cyclical processes and compliance.
• Collaborates with HR team to ensure accurate processing of employee transactions.
• Delivers service in a professional and efficient manner while managing expectations to achieve high levels of consumer satisfaction.
• Maintains documentation and records for HR-related cases.
