Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an HR Representative to serve as frontline support, handling inquiries, onboarding/offboarding, and HR processes with accuracy and professionalism. You'll work with the HR team to ensure proper employee transactions and maintain records.

The role requires at least 1 year of administrative or customer service experience, familiarity with Workday, and excellent communication and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 1 year of administrative or customer services experience (Required).
• Human Resources experience (Preferred).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of Human Resources experience required.
• Strong experience with Workday.
• Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills.
• Understands confidentiality, communication and customer service.
• Documentation and Updating HR Records.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures and processes.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes and HR cycles.
• Collaborate with HR team to ensure accurate processing of employee transactions.
