Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an HR Representative to serve as front-line support for colleagues, providing real-time, accurate responses to inquiries about HR policies and processes. The role includes processing employee transactions and supporting onboarding/offboarding activities.

Requirements include 1 year of HR or administrative/customer services experience, strong communication skills, confidentiality awareness, and proficiency with Workday.

Qualifications

• 1 year of administrative or customer services experience (Required)
• Human Resources experience (Preferred)
• Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills
• Understands confidentiality, communication and customer service
• Understands compliance
• Displays Conflict Resolution skills and Escalation of complex issues where needed
• Documentation and Updating HR Records

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time, accurate and comprehensive responses to inquiries regarding general HR-related issues, policies, procedures and processes.
• Process employee related transactions accurately based on research, employee-specific information and process guidelines.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, support HR cyclical processes and compliance considerations.
• Collaborate with HR team to ensure accurate and efficient processing of employee transactions.
• Deliver service in a professional and efficient manner, managing expectations to achieve high levels of consumer satisfaction.
• Escalate complex issues when applicable and maintain documentation for HR-related cases.
