Job summary

LHH US in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an HR Data Analyst / Compensation & Benefits Analyst (Contract) to support compensation, benefits, payroll and workforce analytics using Excel and HRIS systems.

You will audit data, prepare reports and dashboards, assist with HR technology projects, and ensure data integrity across Workday and ADP platforms. On-site, full-time contract through year-end with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and data validation.
• Experience with ADP, Workday, or other HRIS platforms.
• Background in HRIS administration, payroll, compensation, benefits, HR analytics, or HR operations.
• Experience analyzing large datasets and preparing reports for business stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage confidential employee information with discretion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compensation and benefits audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain data files for compensation planning and workforce analysis.
• Analyze, validate, and manipulate large datasets using Microsoft Excel and HR systems.
• Generate reports and dashboards from HRIS and payroll platforms.
• Perform data cleanup, quality assurance, and ongoing data governance activities.
• Support HR technology system testing, implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Monitor and maintain employee data integrity across multiple systems.
• Assist with compensation analysis, benefits reporting, and workforce planning initiatives.
• Research and resolve data discrepancies while recommending process improvements.
• Handle confidential employee and compensation information with discretion and professionalism.
