Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support employee relations, leave administration, compliance, HR operations and lifecycle activities in a fully onsite role.

You will partner with employees and leaders to resolve issues, administer FMLA/ADA accommodations, maintain HRIS records, assist with recruiting, onboarding, performance management and engagement initiatives while ensuring adherence to policies and employment law.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience required.
• Knowledge of employee relations, leave administration, and employment law.
• Paylocity experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations matters, investigations, corrective actions, and separations.
• Administer FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and other leave programs.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, employee status changes, and background checks.
• Maintain HRIS records and employee documentation.
• Assist with performance management, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Prepare HR reports, metrics, and employee communications.
