Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in HR or related field preferred.
• 2+ years HR/payroll experience required.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Experience supporting a unionized workforce preferred.
• Familiarity with HRIS, payroll and ATS systems.

Responsibilities

• Payroll administration: process and audit weekly payroll; resolve discrepancies; maintain records.
• Onboarding & compliance: coordinate new hire onboarding; verify Form I-9; maintain personnel files.
• Recruiting support: scheduling, interview coordination, ATS posting, background checks.
• Labor relations: administer union documents, assist bargaining materials, and maintain contract records.
• Employee relations: serve as first HR contact; assist with policies, benefits, and data management.
• Administrative support to plant manager: schedule, prepare reports, and support plant initiatives.
