GardaWorld is seeking an HR Coordinator in Reno, NV to keep our people operations running smoothly from day one. You’ll guide applicants, manage onboarding, coordinate interviews, and ensure accurate records while partnering with branch staff on offers and orientations.

The role emphasizes benefits communications, compliance, and data integrity across HRIS/ATS systems, with a supportive team and clear growth opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a college degree in human resources management or related field is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in a fast-paced HR environment is ideal.
• Tech-savvy with experience in both proprietary and mass market systems; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Guide applicants through the application process and coordinate onboarding activities.
• Manage applicants in the applicant tracking system and oversee status updates.
• Collaborate with branch staff to screen, interview, and extend offers; conduct new-employee orientations.
• Administer screenings, fingerprinting, and background checks for conditional hires.
• Schedule orientations and enroll employees in the Learning Management System.
• Communicate benefits and changes during open enrollment and employment transitions.
• Ensure payroll readiness by reviewing training hours and maintaining records.
• Maintain WinTeam data and post-hire maintenance; manage employment records and reports.
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and safety/compliance programs.
• Assist walk-in applicants and employees with computer support as needed.
