Job summary

Sundt Construction in Charlotte, NC is seeking an HR Coordinator to support the regional HR team with high-volume personnel transactions, HRIS data integrity, and compliance across federal and state requirements.

You will handle onboarding, orientations, recordkeeping, inquiries via HR ticketing system, and support travel across the region. A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor's in HR is preferred, with bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with customer service focus.
• Experience with HRIS platforms and HR transactions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the administrative backbone of the regional HR team, handling high-volume personnel transactions.
• Maintain data integrity within the HRIS and ensure federal/state compliance.
• Onboard new hires and manage onboarding logistics and orientations.
• Support employee inquiries via HR ticketing system and assist with payroll questions.
• Assist with termination/offboarding processes and asset coordination.
• Prepare and update regional HR resources and job descriptions.
• Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, and FLSA; monitor work authorizations for E-Verify.
