HR Coordinator
Location: Fairfield County, CT (On-Site)
Compensation: Up to $85k DOE
We are partnering with a well-established organization to identify an HR Coordinator to support a busy Human Resources team. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with 3–5 years of experience who enjoys the operational side of Human Resources and has a strong background in recruiting coordination, ATS administration, document management, and HR administration.
This role will work closely with HR leadership to ensure a seamless candidate and employee experience while maintaining compliance, supporting hiring initiatives, and keeping HR processes running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring candidate information is accurate and up to date
- Coordinate recruiting activities including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and offer administration
- Assist with onboarding, new hire paperwork, and employee documentation
- Maintain confidential employee files and HR records while ensuring compliance
- Support HR administrative functions including employment verifications, personnel changes, and document management
- Coordinate background checks, onboarding requirements, and new hire logistics
- Assist with HR reporting and tracking recruiting metrics
- Partner with hiring managers and HR leadership to provide an exceptional candidate experience
- Support ongoing HR projects, process improvements, and other administrative initiatives as needed

Ideal Background
- 3–5 years of Human Resources experience
- Experience supporting recruiting or talent acquisition efforts
- Strong ATS administration experience (Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, Lever, Taleo, UKG, or similar)
- Experience maintaining HR records and employee documentation
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required based on experience
