Job summary

UNIQLO is seeking a Human Resources Assistant Manager to support HR functions across multiple store locations. You will train Store Managers and HR Associates, process payroll and timekeeping, and maintain personnel files while ensuring compliance with policies.

Reporting to the Area HR Manager, you will handle employee relations, recruitment support, and on-site HR initiatives, collaborating with store leaders, payroll, and training teams to drive staffing efficiency and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum of two years HR or related experience.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Strong PC skills including MS Excel and Word.
• Experience with Workday preferred.
• Excellent customer service and confidentiality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of HR policies and employment law.
• Flexible schedule including evenings/weekends.
• Travel may be required (10-25%).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Area HR Manager on employee relations and staffing objectives.
• Process reports and HR administrative tasks (policy and procedure).
• Liaise on employee relations questions, leaves of absence, PTO, workers' comp, etc.
