Job summary

UNIQLO, part of Fast Retailing Co., Ltd., seeks an energetic Human Resources Assistant Manager to train Store Managers, support payroll, timecard enforcement, and maintain personnel files. The role emphasizes employee relations, recruiting, and HR policy adherence across multiple locations.

You will partner with Area HR leadership to drive staffing objectives, deliver HR programs at the store level, and ensure compliant HR practices while supporting cost controls and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 2+ years HR or related experience
• Retail experience preferred
• Proficient with MS Excel and MS Word
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and Workday preferred
• Excellent communication and confidentiality
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends
• Travel 10–25%

Responsibilities

• Partner with Area HR Manager on employee relations and staffing objectives
• Handle HR administrative tasks including payroll and timekeeping
• Assist with interviews, investigations, and disciplinary actions
• Provide HR support at store level and coordinate with payroll/training
• Support recruitment through on-site events and job fairs
• Advise managers on workforce planning and cost control
• Maintain personnel files and HR records
• Participate in special HR projects across multiple locations
