Job summary

TEKsystems in Tempe, AZ, is seeking an Accommodations Specialist to support leave and accommodations programs within a collaborative HR team. The contract role is 6 months, with hybrid scheduling and 6:00 AM–3:00 PM or 7:00 AM–4:00 PM shifts.

You will manage accommodation workflows, coordinate documentation, and partner with HR and Payroll for timely processing. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of related experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and familiarity with Workday,

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of HR, administrative, benefits, customer service, or related experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, and web-based systems.
• Ability to handle confidential employee information with professionalism.
• Experience with Workday, Smartsheet, Box, leave administration, benefits administration, or accommodations is a plus.
• Knowledge of ADA, FMLA, leave processes, or accommodation case support is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage accommodation request workflows, documentation tracking, and employee follow-up activities.
• Partner with employees, managers, HR, Payroll, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely processing of accommodation requests.
• Maintain accurate records, coordinate documentation collection, and support process improvement initiatives.
