Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Technician for a high-precision die-casting operation in Cedarburg, WI.

This 2nd shift role emphasizes GD&T, first-piece through final inspections, and CMM-based verification to ensure conformance with customer specifications. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in HPDC quality, can read blueprints, and contributes to root-cause investigations while supporting ISO/IATF quality systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of quality technician experience in HPDC or metal manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Must reside within a 45-minute commute of Cedarburg, WI.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections of die cast components.
• Verify conformance using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, and CMM.
• Investigate defects and conduct root-cause analysis; issue NCMRs and containment actions.
• Review schematics, blueprints, and control plans against GD&T requirements.
• Support audits, PPAP, FAI, and ISO/IATF quality system activities.
