Job summary

ContainerPort Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Terminal Manager for our Houston terminal. You will oversee fleet coordination, drive safety culture, and align operations with customers and drivers to deliver reliable drayage and logistics services.

The role requires strong leadership, intermodal experience, and hands-on management of an owner-operator fleet. You will partner with Customer Service, Operations, and HR to recruit drivers, develop processes, and ensure performance against GP/ NOI

Qualifications

5 years intermodal transportation management experience
3 years managing an owner-operator based fleet
HS diploma; Bachelor's in Business/Logistics preferred

Responsibilities

Provide leadership for the Fleet Manager, Customer Service and Operations team members located in the terminal
Work with recruiting and driver experience teams on IC acquisition and retention strategies
Develop new business and expand opportunities with current customers through relationship building with key decision makers
Coach and facilitate communication and teamwork among Customer Service, fleet and operations management
Uphold safety culture and conduct safety inspections and compliance
Oversee facility maintenance and safety inspections and manage P&L insights (GP/ NOI/ NI)
Utilize Electronic Log and HOS systems and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
