Dow in Houston, Texas is seeking a Project Controls Lead to drive cost, schedule, and risk management across multiple capital projects. You will partner with Project Engineers, Design, Construction, Procurement, and stakeholders to integrate cost, schedule, risk, forecasting, and change control within the Global Project Methodology (GPM).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of relevant experience accepted.
• 5+ years in Project Controls, Engineering, Manufacturing, Construction, or related discipline.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in cost management, scheduling, forecasting, and project performance analysis.
• Ability to influence project teams without direct reporting lines.

Responsibilities

• Lead application of Project Controls processes, tools, and best practices to improve cost and schedule performance.
• Serve as Project Controls leader on the Project Steering Team and advise project leadership.
• Provide direction to Project Controls resources across full project execution phases.
• Monitor workload and identify resource needs, escalating as needed.
• Deliver accurate forecasting, cost reporting, schedule analysis, and performance metrics.
• Complete monthly Project Controls deliverables for reports and reviews.
• Ensure quality and integrity of all Project Controls documents and deliverables.
• Communicate meaningful project insights to enable proactive risk and opportunity management.
• Report project status to internal and external stakeholders; support IPA reviews and other assurance activities.
• Oversee Change Management processes and communicate impacts on cost, schedule, and scope.
• Use Cost and Schedule metrics to monitor health and identify improvements.
• Establish Management Intervention thresholds and recommend corrective actions when off targets.
• Foster ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
